BALLOONAPALOOZA and EMANCIPATION DAY CELEBRATIONS

Featuring a kaleidoscope of colour and endless excitement, the first annual Balloonapalooza Festival is the family event of the summer! Comprised of over 80 cold air balloons and other inflatables, Balloonapalooza is destined to transform downtown Windsor into a dazzling array of activities for people of all ages.

On July 30-31, the Downtown Windsor BIA will present the region’s first ever cold air balloon festival —a breathtaking event that will bring thousands of people to the city centre for two days of fun, food and festivities.

Hours of Operation:

Balloonapalooza is open from 11am to 11pm on July 30 & 31, 2011
Midway Rides, Games & Concession are open from 11am to 8pm on July 30 & 31, 2011
Sidewalk Cafes, Restaurants and Patios may be open from 11am to 2am on July 30-August 1, 2011

Weekend highlights include:

80 Giant Cold Air Balloons
Train Rides & Conductors for Children
Mini Amusement Park with various Midway Games, Rides & Concessions on Downtown Streets
10 Live Outdoor Music Performances by the Friends of Windsor Federation of Musicians
Sidewalk Cafés, Restaurants and Bars with Extended Patios
Access to the Emancipation Day Celebration Events
